We strongly believe that the Internet should be open and accessible to everyone, regardless of individual circumstances or abilities. For this reason, we are committed to making our website accessible to the widest possible audience.

Our goal is to conform, to the greatest extent possible, with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2) developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), as well as the applicable requirements of EN 301 549.

Conformance Status

This website is partially conformant with the applicable accessibility requirements. The assessment was conducted on the public I Portici Hotel website using both automated testing and manual reviews, with reference to WCAG 2.2 Level AA and EN 301 549.

The assessment covered 56 URLs, including the main editorial templates; room, offer, and event listing and detail pages; galleries; contact and newsletter forms; menus; carousels; filters; and form validation states. Lighthouse scores were used as a diagnostic indicator only and should not be considered a certification of accessibility conformance.

Content That Is Not Yet Fully Accessible

The following content and features are not yet fully accessible, based on the findings of our internal assessment:

C.9.1.1.1 — Non-text Content: In some cases, informative images do not yet include sufficiently descriptive text alternatives. Some images currently use alternative text derived from the media file name.
C.9.1.3.1 — Info and Relationships: The heading hierarchy and semantic structure of editorial content still need to be standardized on certain pages. Some nested interactive elements also remain, such as carousel or video controls placed within links.
C.9.1.4.1 — Use of Color: Some filters and interactive states still rely primarily on color to distinguish information or functionality.
C.9.1.4.3 — Contrast (Minimum): Some color tokens used for filters, labels, and selectors do not consistently meet the required minimum contrast ratio. Text contrast over images may also vary depending on the underlying photography.
C.9.1.4.11 — Non-text Contrast: Some interactive components and indicators do not yet meet the required minimum contrast ratio against adjacent elements in all states.
C.9.2.1.1 — Keyboard: Certain behaviors involving lightboxes, slides, and dynamic interactive components still require further testing and refinement with assistive technologies.
C.9.2.2.2 — Pause, Stop, Hide: The hero video plays automatically and does not yet provide a dedicated control to pause or stop playback. Support for users who have enabled reduced-motion preferences also requires further implementation.
C.9.2.4.3 — Focus Order: The lightbox and certain dynamic states still require testing with assistive technologies to ensure that focus is properly contained and restored.
C.9.2.4.4 — Link Purpose (In Context): Certain image content and links generated through the media catalog require further review to ensure that their destination or purpose can always be clearly determined.
C.9.3.3.2 — Labels or Instructions: The calendar field and certain error messages or third-party service integrations do not yet consistently provide complete, persistent instructions and status information.
C.9.4.1.2 — Name, Role, Value: Further assistive technology testing is required for certain lightbox controls and complex interactive elements to ensure that their name, role, state, and value are always correctly exposed.
C.9.4.1.3 — Status Messages: reCAPTCHA boundary errors and certain loading or error states associated with third-party services still need to be made visible and announced without requiring a change of focus.

Preparation and Review

This accessibility statement was prepared on September 8, 2026, based on the accessibility assessment of the public website. It will be reviewed periodically and updated following significant changes to the website or subsequent accessibility assessments.
